If husband die in jail after saying tum azzad hay, Is it mean she is divorce

What is the ruling of Islam if a husband says to his wife “that if I go to jail, tum azzad hay” and he ended up in jail. What should she do? and she is out of his Nikka? and both understood azzad means divorce.
When saying you are free if he meant to divorce her then she is divorced and is able to marry some place else after spending her ‘idda’.
