What is the name of the three idols worshipped by the people of Aad?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

What is the name of the three idols worshipped by the people of Aad

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

The people of Āad were extremely powerful and wealthy and they built countless buildings and monuments to show their power. However, the Āad people’s wealth ultimately proved to be their failure, as they became arrogant and forsook the Almighty and began to adopt idols for worship. The three idols they used to worship are Sad, Samud and Hera.[1]
