Is it still considered sunnah to wear a turban or topi if some hair on the forehead are visible?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
Covering head with turban or topi , cap is a sunnah. The question is that while wearing topi (cap) if some head hair are visible on forehead then is this sunnah still valid in this case? Please give reference if possible.

Answer

(Fatwa: 521/420/B=1434)

The holy Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) used to wear topi on his holy head then wore amamah over it. It was his usual routine; hence it is sunnah to wear amamah over topi. If the hair is seen in spite of wearing topi on head then too the sunnah of wearing topi shall be fulfilled.
