Private Hifz Classes in Musjid

Q: Some Ulama have their own private hifz claases in the Masjid. In terms of the Shariah laws of the Musjid, are these Ulama obliged to seek written permission from Mutawallis (trustees) and do they have to contribute to expenses of the Masjid?


A:They should get the permission of the trustees and contribute to the musjid expenses to the extent that they have used the facilities while conducting the classes. (Fatwaa Raheemiyah, vol 6, pg 106)
