In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh
- The aurah of a man is from that portion which is below the navel upto the knee. This will be the same whether he is in salaah or out of salaah.
- Regarding the covering of the hands to the wrists, the Fuqahaa mention that is disliked to read salaah whilst the forearm is exposed. This will refer to the situation where a person has folded his sleeves and also to that person who reads salaah with a short sleeve shirt or the common half sleeve kurtahJubbah. This is clearly mentioned in the juristic texts of Hazrat Mufti Mahmood Saheb (nawwarallahu marqadahu).
