Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Walaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I pray that this finds you well, and in the best of health and spirits. May Allah grant you all good and success in this life and the next.

Being in a state of major ritual impurity (janaba) is not optimal, but only certain things are impermissible in it, such as ritual prayer, touching and reciting the Qur’an, entering the mosque, and circumambulating the Kaaba. [Shurunbulali, Maraqi al-Falah]

Other things remain permissible when in a state of major ritual impurity, without dislike–even the remembrance of Allah (dhikr). Sayyida Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would not be prevented from the remembrance of Allah by anything, even ritual impurity.

However, it is best and most praiseworthy to strive to be in a state of ritual purity, particularly when engaging in spiritual works and when undertaking major life actions, as this was the way of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

And Allah alone gives success.
