Duas in Ghusl & Changing Garments Due to Passing Wind in Prayer

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Shaykh Faraz Rabbani

1. When performing ghusl, do I still need to recite the dua after performing a full wudu?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Wa Alaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu,

In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful & Compassionate

1)

Yes, it would be best to supplicate—which is recommended, not obligatory—after performing the wudu, if one’s nakedness is covered. Note that it is not proper to perform the pre-ghusl ritual ablution while naked.

2)

The undergarment only needs to be changed if filth exits on to it, and not merely because one passes wind.

Washing up after passing wind?

Wassalam,

Faraz Rabbani.
