I have some money in Bank.Please clarify whether I can pay Income tax to the Govt.from the intrest earned on the said money,If not ,then what to do with that money ?.I do not want to leave it to Bank.I pay zakat as per sharia.

Interest money received from bank should be given in charity to poor and needy ones without the intention of reward. It is allowed to pay income tax with interest amount.
