assalamualaikum. When i went for umrah to makkah and i was in ihram i touched hajrae aswad with my hand as i didnt know tat perfumed is applied to hajrae aswad.since i touched it unknowingly,does i have to give dum tat is do i have to sacrifice animal for tat. jazakallah
Answer:
(Fatwa: 1775/1360=D/1429)
In the abovementioned case, if the perfume was applied to the palm and fingers and the hand was scented then you have to give damm (animal for slaughtering). If it is applied to fingers only then sadqah (charity) is wajib.
