Are There Nusus Which Prove That Any and Every Ibadah Done on the Night of Qadr Will Be Multiplied by 1000?

Question:

Are there nusus which prove that any and every ibadah done on the Night of Qadr will be multiplied by 1000+ months?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

That which is often heard by scholars in explanation is all derived from the ayah:

لَيلَةُ القَدرِ خَيرٌ مِن أَلفِ شَهرٍ

The Night of Qadr is better than a thousand months.1

If one spends the whole night in worship then that is worth more than a thousand months in reward. Similarly, if someone does any other virtuous action, the reward would be like doing it for more than a thousand months2. For example, if someone gives £1 on the Night of Qadr, it is hoped that the reward will be equivalent to giving £1 every night for over a thousand months.

Only Allah knows best
