Question:
Assalamualykum. One and half years ago my husband gave me talaq. After that, he understood that it was his fault and we resettled. Recently we had an argument in which he did talaq 3 times in anger. Now, what should I do? If you advise it will be very helpful.

Answer:
Due to the fact that 3 divorces have been given, the divorce has happened and the marriage has ended1. You must spend your iddah period of 3 menstrual cycles, starting from the first period after the divorce following which you should go back to your family’s house (or another house)2. You cannot stay with your ex-husband any longer because he is no longer your husband.
