Question:

If a man doesn’t do isha with jamaat can they be the imam for Taraweeh salaah?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The time for Taraweeh starts after the Isha Salaah.1 As long as the Imam performed Isha Salaah prior to leading Taraweeh, the prayer will be valid.2
