Q: Does internal checkup and vaginal ultrasound done by gynecologist during pregnency invalidate the fast?
A: If no medication has been inserted into the vagina, the fast will not be broken. If any gel or other substance was inserted into the vagina, the fast will break.
Ultrasound scanning does not invalidate the fast.
