There is glad tiding given in Hadith for good dreams:

عن أبي ھریرة قال قال رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم: لم یبق من النبوة إلا المبشرات قالوا وما المبشرات قال: الروٴیا الصالحة (مشکوٰة: ج۲ ص۴،۳)

And, seeing the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa sallam) in dream is undoubtedly virtuous. Those who see the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi wa sallam) in dream have been given glad tidings: من رآني في المنام فسیراني في الیقظة (مشکوٰة: ج۲ص۳۹۴) Mullah Ali Qari writes in his book under the above text:

فیکون إشارة إلی بشارة الرائي لہ علیہ السلام بحصول موتہ علی الإسلام وصولہ إلی روٴیتہ في دار المقام? والأظہر أن یقال المعنی فکأنما رآني في الیقظة (جمع الوسائل: ج۲ ص۶۰۹)
