Using toothpaste and miswak while fasting

While fasting, can I use toothbrush & paste or miswak?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

It is makrooh to use toothpaste while fasting. If the toothpaste goes down the throat, the fast will break.

As for using miswak while fasting, it is permissible. Infact, it is sunnah.
