The above hadith reads as follows: Narrated Abu Huraira (radiallaho unho): Allah’s Apostle (salallaho alaihi wasallam) said, “Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic region, clipping the nails and cutting the moustaches short.” It says FIVE practices but only name FOUR. Your comments?
Answer:
This Hadith is recorded in Sahih Bukhari several times. According to the Arabic version of Sahih Bukhari, all 5 characteristics are mentioned (see Hadith5889; 5891; 6297)
It is the English version that has a mistake in the translation, though the Arabic text there too has mentioned all 5 (see vol.7 pg.515 Translated by Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan)
