Assalamu Alaikum, sometimes I download books from the internet, there sometimes contain cartoons, which may not be erased easily, is it ok to read books as I did not draw it but just reading the article?

Answer:
Regards to reading books is that it is best to read books without any animations. However, you are not at fault for reading it with animations. Therefore, it will be permissible to read them. My advice to you would be to read Islamic books as that would increase your knowledge and with that you can get closer to your creator, Allah (SBW).
