A. For the relief of depression and any other similar case, one may recite:

(O Allah) There is no God but You. Glory be to you, I am certainly from the wrongdoers.

Annii Masaniya Dhurru wa anta Arhamur-Raahimeen. (Sura Al Ambiya)
(O Allah) Harm has touched me and you are the Most Merciful.

The following duas are also effective:

Innaa lillaahi wa Innaa ilaihi Raaji’oon. Allaahumma Jurni fii Musiibati wa Akhlif lii Khairan Minha (Sahih Muslim)
We are for (from) Allah and to Him is our return. O Allah reward me in my troubles and replace it with that which is better.

Laa ilaaha illallaahul Azeemul Haleem
Laa ilaaha illallaahu Rabbul Arshil Azeem
Laa ilaaha illallaahu Rabbus-samaawaati wa Rabbul Ardhi wa Rabbul Arshil Kareem (Sahih Al Bukhari)
There is no God but Allah, the greatest, the Forebearing One. There is no God but Allah, Lord of the great throne. There is no God but Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth and Lord of the honorable throne.

Laa hawla wa la Quwwata illaa billah (Baihaqi)
There is no strength and power except with Allah.

Allaahumma Rahmataka Arju Fa laa Takilni ila nafsi Tarfata Ain wa Aslih Sha’ni Kullahu laa ilaaha illa anta. (Abu Dawood)
O Allah! I hope for your mercy. Do not entrust myself (my affairs) to me to the extent of the blinking of an eye. And make good all my affairs. There is no God but you.

Hasbunallaahu wa Ni’mal Wakeel (Sura Al Imran)
Allah is sufficient for us. And how great He is as the disposer of affairs.

Allaahu Allaahu Rabbi laa ushrika bihi Shai’an (Hisn Husn)
Allah, Allah is my lord. I do not ascribe anything as partners to Him.

And Allah knows best.
