Will Wudhu Break if Blood Comes From a Minor Injury?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
A very minor injury/ bruising of finger above nails occurred in morning when I stepped from home. I was with wudhu. Blood was on wound only. But after some time, I did inn (inn for office) shirt inside trouser and in this act the blood got spread due to cloth and fingers going in with below trouser part. So did my wudhu break? I kept reading Quran on journey considering wudhu did not break.

In the question mentioned above your wudhu had broken. If you have recited the Holy Quran in the same state holding the Holy Quran in your hand then you committed an unlawful act, you should do taubah and istighfar. And if you did not hold the Holy Quran in your hand then you did no wrong. According to Shariah, wudhu is not necessary to recite the Holy Quran verbally.
