Is it a part of Sunnat to send Eid Teohari as a gift?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Darulifta-Deoband.com
I want to know that the gift sent by bride father as a Eid Teohari (like dry fruits, sewayi etc) exist some sunnat with this. Is it okay to send teohari?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(Fatwa: 1061/1069/M=9/1438)

It is not a sunnah to send gift (dry fruits Siwaiyan etc) in the name of Eidi or Teohari to the place of bride’s in-laws and it is wrong to think it mandatory and otherwise considering a cause of curse and complain.  It is not good to give gifts under the pressure of customs. Yes, if the gifts are given and taken happily without the pressure of customs and society then not only it is lawful rather good and desired and it is lawful without any karahat.
