Taking an oath not to speak to someone

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I asked my husband to be for a face wash which he didn’t get and I swore upon Allah that I won’t talk to him, do I have to give kaffarah?

Bismillaah

A: For a woman to talk casually to a man before marriage is impermissible. You may break your oath after marriage and give the kaffaarah.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
