Can a person attend the Janazah Salah a multiple number of times?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Askimam.org

Can a persone attend multiple time of one’s janaza?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

According to the Hanafi Madhab (school of thought) the Janazah Salah will be performed only one time upon the deceased. As such, then there is no question of attending the Janazah Salah multiple times.

However, if a very close relative (Wali) for example son etc, missed the Janazah Salah, he as well as other similar close relatives only may perform Janazah Salah upon the deceased, and after the burial until there is a probability of the body being intact.
