A Hadith stating the sources of wine

Is this Hadith authentic?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Wine is from grapes, dates, honey, wheat, barley and maize/millet. Therefore whatever ferments from these is regarded to be wine”

Answer

Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) as part of a longer narration.

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 3 pg. 112)

‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has authenticated the narrators (rijalus sahih).

(Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 5 pg. 56)
