Meaning of a word in a chain of narrators

What is the meaning of the word ‘fi akharin’ in the following chain of narrators in Sunan Abi Dawud:

حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد، في آخرين، قالوا: حدثنا يحيى بن سليم

Answer

Fi akharin‘ will translate as ‘Among others’.

Imam Abu Dawud (rahimahullah) heard this Hadith from Qutaybah (rahimahullah) and other Muhaddithun.

All those Muhaddithun in turn, heard this particular Hadith from Yahya ibn Sulaym.

(Refer: Sharhu Sunan Abi Dawud of ‘Allamah ‘Ayni, vol. 1 pg. 186, Hadith: 131, ‘Awnul Ma’bud, Hadith: 142 and Badhlul Majhud, Hadith: 142)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
