Is this Hadith authentic?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
The son of Adam [boastfully] says: “My wealth, My wealth. [What truly] belongs to you except what you consumed, or wore something and wore it out or what you gave as sadaqah and sent [the reward] ahead?”
Answer
Imam Muslim (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith. The Hadith is therefore authentic.
