Summarised Translation

The teacher in every era had told the student to place their on their head when reciting Verse 21 of Surah Hashr. This continues to Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radiyallahu ‘anhu) who says, ‘I recited Quran to Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). When I reached the Verse لو أنزلنا هذا القرآن على جبل, Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, ‘Place your hand on your head, for when Jibril (‘alayhis salam) brought this revelation he said, Place your hand on your head, for this Verse is a cure from all illnesses except death.’

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
