Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would eat cucumber with fresh dates

Please translate, and authenticate this Hadith?

رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يأكل القثاء بالرطب

Answer:

Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration. The Hadith is therefore authentic.

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 5440, Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2043)

Translation

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Ja’far ibn Abi Talib (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) said: “I saw Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) eating fresh dates with cucumber”

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
