Is this narration authentic?
سيكون من بعدي خلفاء، ومن بعد الخلفاء أمراء، ومن بعد الأمراء ملوك، ومن بعد الملوك جبابرة، ثم يخرج رجل من أهل بيتي يملأ الأرض عدلا كما ملئت جورا، ثم يؤمر القحطاني فوالذي بعثني بالحق ما هو دونه
Answer
Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith. ‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) says, ‘There are several narrators in the chain. whose condition [reliability] I am unaware of.’ ‘Allamah Munawi (rahimahullah) states, ‘The chain consists of unknown narrators’ [majahil].
(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 937, volume: 22, Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 5 pg. 190, At Taysir, vol. 2 pg. 66)
‘Allamah ‘Azizi (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith sound (hasan). It is possible that he graded it such due to corroboration.

Translation
After me there will be caliphate. Thereafter, there will be Amirs followed by kingship. After this, tyrants will rule. [The Khilafah system is generally a just one, contrary to kingship]. Thereafter, a man from the Ahlu Bayt will emerge [Al Mahdi]. He will fill the earth with justice just as it was filled with oppression. After him a man from Qahtan will be appointed as the leader. By Allah! This [Qahtani] is not much lower in rank [than Al Mahdi].
