Allah Ta’ala loves three things; hastening to break the fast, delaying sehri and folding the hands in Salah

Is this narration authentic?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Allah Ta’ala loves three things; Hastening to break the fast [when iftar time sets in], delaying the suhur [till the last time] and placing one hand on the other in Salah [placing the right hand on the left hand in Salah].”

Answer

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Ya’la ibn Murrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

(Al Mu’jamul Kabir, Hadith: 676, volume: 22, Al Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 7466)

‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has declared a narrator weak.

(Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 2 pg. 105 and vol. 3 pg. 155. Also see: Targhib, vol. 2 pg. 140)

However, the Hadith is corroborated and suitable to quote. See here and here.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
