Can this narration be practiced upon?
من قال في كل يوم عشر مرات: اللهم أصلح أمة محمد , اللهم فرج عن أمة محمد اللهم ارحم أمة محمد كتب من الأبدال
“Whoever says, ‘O Allah! Rectify the ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), O Allah! Remove the difficulties of the ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), O Allah! Have mercy on the ummah of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) ten times daily, will be recorded to be from the abdal”
Answer:
Imam Abu Nu’aym (rahimahullah) has recorded this as the statement of the famous Saint, Ma’ruf Al Karkhi (rahimahullah) and not as a Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).
