Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) seeing off the army

Is the following narration reliable?

Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) once walked with an army seeing them off. He said, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, our feet have become dusty in His path.’ Someone said, ‘We merely bade farewell [and walked a bit with them].’ Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) said, ‘We equipped them, bade farewell and made du’a for them’

Answer

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration.

This incident is suitable to quote.
