Accepting terms and conditions without reading it

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: When making purchases, if there is a box to tick that says ‘I have read and accept terms and conditions’ But a person hasn’t read them, is this sinful. Even if the purchase is something beneficial in Islam. (Note: Some terms and conditions can be pages and pages long like about 70 pages).

Bismillaah

A: No, as long as he is happy to take the commodity as it is.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
