From Sin to Love: My Struggle to Revive My Life in Dubai

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I live in Dubai and I’m from India. In the past one and half years I have committed a lot of sins. I was a practising Muslim but then I started committimg sins one by one. Initially I met a prostitute here who is also a Muslim from Tajakistan. She is a single mother. I started to visit her very regulalry for more than one and half years. I started doing alcohol and going to partys etc but I have stopped all that now. I want to revive my life but now I am in love with that prostitute and I want to marry her and lead an Islamic life with her but I cant tell my family about her previous profession because they will never accept. So I havent informed them anything. My mom is looking for a girl for me and she wants to get me married. I am 29 now but I fear that I am in love with this person too much that I may not be able to forget her easily. I know I have committed a huge blunder and its probably the retribution of it that I am facing. Is it right if I marry her. If yes, how should I get married? If not, is there any dua or so with which my heart is free of her?

Bismillaah

A: I suggest that you discuss this matter with your mother.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
