A: In a nikaah relationship, there should be transparency and understanding. Therefore, if the husband leaves the home for some work, he should inform his wife regarding the work he is leaving for and the approximate time that he will return. This is in order to avoid suspicions and doubts and to save the wife from worry and concern.
