Wife telling the husband “I am divorcing you”

Q: I would like to know, if the wife tells you in front of the children, I am divorcing you, what are the consequences?

Bismillaah

A: There is no consequence. The wife does not have the right at all to issue a divorce.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
