Looking at one’s spouse with love and kindness

Q: Is this a fabricated Hadith “When a husband and wife look at each other with love, Allah looks at both of them with mercy.”?

Bismillaah

A: Allah Ta`ala Himself likes the spouses to look at each other with love and kindness. However, we don’t know of the authenticity of this hadeeth.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
