Question: Dear Mufti Sahib, Assalamualaikum, These days some section of the Muslims are claiming that Zakaat can be given to non-Muslims based on one of the groups [ Muallafatul Quloob – the category of those whose hearts are to be reconciled to Islam ] mentioned in Surah Taubah.
