Audio Recordings for Prayer

Answered as per Shafi'i Fiqh by Qibla.com

Answered by Sidi Moustafa Elqabbany

I am recently converted and trying to learn Shafi’i fiqh. I am reading “Reliance of the Traveller” right now, and it shows all of the different parts of the prayer that you must say but I don’t know how they SOUND. Is there anything available online that I can listen to and make sure I get the pronunciation of EVERY part of the Shafi’i salaat?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The supplications found in Al-Maqasid have been recorded and are available at:

http://www.dhikr.org

These include the supplications of prayer as well as others. There is no text to go along with the recording, so you will have to have a copy of Al-Maqasid in hand.
