Is Friday prayer invalid in the West?

I heard that according to our madhab the Friday prayer is not valid in our time in the west, and that it is obligatory for those who pray the Friday prayer to repeat it as the noon prayer. Is this correct?

Answer:
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

I do not know the reason for the invalidity of the Friday prayer in the west according to our madhab. The questioner should clarify this point further. The scholars of jurisdiction have clarified the conditions for the validity of the Friday prayer. As long as these conditions are met, then the prayer is valid, whether in east or west. The questioner should clarify the problem that he is seeking an answer to.

السؤال: سمعتُ أن صلاة الجمعة لا تصح اليوم في الغرب في مذهبنا وأنه يجب على من صلى الجمعة أن يعيدها ظهراً ، هل هذا صحيحٌ ؟ إن كان صحيحاً فهل يجب عليَّ أن أصلي الجمعة نظراً إلى أنها باطلةٌ في الغرب ؟ الجواب : لا أدري ما وجهُ بطلان الجمعة في الغرب في مذهبنا ، فليت السائل بَيَّن ذلك ، إذ لصحة صلاة الجمعة شرائط بينها الفقهاء متى اجتمعت كانت صحيحة سواء في الشرق والغرب ، فعلى السائل توضيح الإشكال الذي يريد الجوابَ عنه .
