If you go for Umrah, does it become compulsory to thereafter go for Hajj?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by TheMufti.com

Q. If you go for Umrah, does it become compulsory to thereafter go for Hajj?

A. By simply performing Umrah, the performance of Hajj does not automatically become compulsory on a person. The performance of Hajj only becomes compulsory on a person if he/she has sufficient means to perform Hajj over and above his/her needs and requirements to fulfill the needs of one’s family.
