Can we make an one time intention for the sawaab of all the nafl amaal we do?

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Can I make a one-time intention that the Sawaab of all and any Nafl acts I do or going to do in my life goes to the rooh of Muhammad Rasoolullah [saws], all of the Sahaba Ikram, all of the Awliyah, and all of Muslims who have passed away and still alive, and especially to the rooh of my grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. or do I have to make that intention each and every time I do a Nafl act? (U.S.A)

There is nothing related to doing this in the future, therefore, all those actions that are performed ‘nafil’ you should make intention regarding those actions that one ever you do them you would make a prayer in which he would include not just yourself and those who are close to you but rest of the many other people. Like if somebody recites the Koran and prays two rakat ‘nafal’
prayer then he should make a prayer for all the people so that they can get reward.
