One is called ‘kamil’ the other is called ‘akmal’.
To wear ‘kurta’, ‘paijama’, ‘topi’ is kamil but to tie a turbine on it is akmal. It is allowed to wear a turbine or not to wear it; either is not contrary to the sunnah. There was a reason why tying a turbine was prohibited, it was because people thought without it you cannot pray, or you cannot lead. To correct this, scholars suggested people should stop wearing the turbines. If somebody wants to wear that they can wear it but it is not a’ sunna muakida’. If somebody doesn’t wear it, there is nothing wrong with that either. Besides that people should adopt the sunna clothing but if someone wants to follow it completely then they can do it.
