Is it allowed to pray 1 rakat witar namaz in shaafai masalak. In Saudi they pray 1 rakat witar. And if we pray namaz at the back of shaafai imam and he pray 1 rakat witar so should we repeat our namaz.
Shafis and Saudis don’t pray witr as one rakat they pray it in three rakats. They do it with two salams. First they pray two and then say salaam and pray one after that. This is not allowed in our school of thought. If someone prays behind them then he would have to repeat the prayers.
