Salaam respected Ulema, I am a resident of Lahore and am currently a hostellite in Islamabad. I travel frequently between Lahore and Islamabad through bus. My question is while I am on the bus, will I be considered a musafir? I am asking this since Lahore is my permeant residence and I stay at Islamabad for more than 15 days.
My second question is that is it allowed to offer Salah on a moving bus, since the bus has its designated route and stops at only one service area and the time for a particular Salah may elapse while one is on the bus. A follow-up question is how one can offer Salah in a moving bus, when there is not enough space to stand and also the direction of qiblah keeps changing.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
1. You will be considered a musafir while traveling on the bus until you reach Islamabad.[1]
2. In the scenario described, you should pray while sitting on your seat and repeat the prayer after you disembark from the bus.[2]

وقال أبو يوسف ومحمد: لا يجزيهم إذا كانوا يستطيعون القيام أن يصلوا قعودا. قلت: أرأيت الرجل إذا صلى بالقوم في سفينة وهي تدور في الماء؟ قال: عليهم أن يتوجهوا إلى القبلة كلما دارت بهم السفينة. قلت: أرأيت الرجل إذا صلى في السفينة أين يسجد؟ قال: يسجد في المكان الذي يصلي فيه. قلت: أرأيت مسافرا صلى في السفينة تطوعا يومئ إيماء حيث توجهت به السفينة؟ قال: لا يجزيه، وعليه أن يقضيها. قلت: لم؟ قال: لأنه دخل فيها وأوجبها على نفسه، ثم أفسدها بعد ذلك حين أومأ وصلى لغير القبلة، فعليه أن يعيد الصلاة
