الجواب وباللہ التوفیق

When the two have separated and the ‘iddah’ has passed, they become strangers to each other. The observe veil will be obligatory on her as is in front of a stranger. If necessary, it will be permissible for her to talk with her previous husband provided she observes the veil.

However, unnecessarily meeting and talking to each other is not permissible, unless fewer than three divorces have been proclaimed, whereby chances of remarriage are still availablle.
