Q: I once said twice I am divorcing my wife twice whilst smiling not seriously, thinking it won’t go through. On another occasion I was angry and said I divorce you. Both were verbal but in a soft tone and a long time ago maybe 8 months. I always used to feel something inside my mind telling me divorce her. Once I just said talaaq thrice. Am I divorced?
A: At the time that you said talaaq thrice to your wife she is out of your nikaah. To live with her now is haraam.
