Follow-up for Question ID 974

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by ShariahBoard.org

Assalamo Alakum Honorable Mufti Sheb:

Regarding the above response (https://shariahboard.org/fatwa/974), if there is nobody else to perfom Asr or Isha Namaz in Jamat in Hanfi time, can a person perfom his Asr and Isha Namaz home when there is no other Masjid around?

الجواب وباللہ التوفیق

You should try to gather a few individuals to pray with jama’at according to the Hanafi timings, this will be the most preferred option. If this is not possible, then there is permissibility for performing your salah by yourself. In addition, if without gathering people from outside, there is a possibility of doing jama’at with the members of the household then that is also an option.
