Method of Getting Rid of Jin, Shaytan and Other Makhluq

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah

1. The best method for getting rid of Jin, Shaytan and other similar makhulq is to read the supplications which are from Quran and Hadith.
2. Lightening candles is also one of the methods for such rectification which is permissible, if used within its permissible boundaries
3. It is permissible according to the teachings of Islam to use ta‘wiz however ulamah kiram have explained the following biding conditions which needs to be fulfilled:
   1. The person should not consider the ta‘wiz as the actual source of affect rather the true faith and belief should be in Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta‘ala
   2. It should not contain any such statements or words which have the meaning of kufr, shirk or of seeking help from anyone else but Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta‘ala
   3. The spiritual treatment should be done using the names of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta‘ala, verses of the Quran, supplications from the Sunnah or Ahadith of Rasulullah Sallallaho Alyhi Wasallam or using clearly understandable and meaningful words
