Can I Publish a Magazine Displaying Pictures of People?

Question: Assalam aleykum

I am planning to work on a magazine for preteen girls.

Can I include pictures in the magazine? Cand I design (drawings) characters of a girl and her friends to go into the magazine?

Answer: assalamu alaykum

As long as the pictures are appropriate from an Islamic viewpoint, there is leeway when it comes to incorporating them in your magazine especially in light of its stated purpose.
