Displaying good character before one’s non-Muslim family members

Answered as per Hanafi Fiqh by Muftionline.co.za

Q: I am a revert. Does this make me responsible for my family on the Day of Resurrection if they die as non-Muslims and am I a Dayooth if the non-believing women in my life (family members) wear whatever they want?

Bismillaah

A: That is not your responsibility. You will not be answerable. However, you should try and show good character when you meet them.

And Allah Ta’ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
